Etna lapillus fused onto a fragment of ceramic: primordial matter transformed into vision. Iridescent, it releases an explosion of colors that captures the gaze and leads it into a dimension suspended between nature and art.
The surface, irregular and rough, retains an authentic and primordial character. On it, an extraordinary chromatic iridescence appears: deep purples, incandescent reds, metallic gold, vibrant yellows, and subtle blue veins intertwine in an almost mineral pattern, as if fire had crystallized the very light, forever fixing its energy.
The rock is placed on an elegant base that enhances its scenic presence. The contrast between the ornamental refinement of the base and the raw power of the volcanic mass creates a harmonious dialogue between nature and culture, between primitive energy and artistic design.
The whole conveys strength, transformation, and memory of the earth: a work that fuses the identity of the territory with a contemporary aesthetic quest, elevating matter to a visual and symbolic experience.
Art-Etn-001

A cachepot made of ceramic with a precious mother-of-pearl finish, capable of refracting light into delicate iridescent reflections. The luminous and silky surface envelops the shape with sophisticated elegance, enhancing its volumes and details.
On the sides, a majestic Medusa emerges in high relief, her intense face framed by a multitude of finely modeled snakes, intertwined in a dynamic rich with tension and movement. Each snake is sculpted with meticulous care, helping to create a play of shadows and depth that makes the figure lively and vibrant.
On the opposite side stands a powerful Polyphemus, shaped with expressive force and sculptural character. The bold lines of the face, the detail of the single eye, and the plastic rendering of the material give the whole an intense, almost theatrical stage presence.
The entire composition is an explosion of pure craftsmanship: careful modeling, formal balance, and symbolic richness merge in an object that transcends function to become a work of art. A creation that celebrates myth, manual skill, and ceramic mastery in all their expressive power.

Two Teste di Moro with a classic white finish reinterpret tradition with refined simplicity. The purity of the white envelops the forms with balance and solemnity, enhancing the sculptural strength of the faces and the richness of the ornamental details.
The decorations, light and measured, rest discreetly on the surface: delicate motifs that do not overpower the form, but accompany it, enhancing its harmony. The meticulous craftsmanship highlights turbans, jewelry, and features, sculpted with precision and artisanal sensitivity.
What surprises is the strongly iridescent finish, which crosses the white with shimmering reflections. In the light, the surface comes alive with pearly gleams, pearlescent shades, and luminous vibrations that transform the apparent monochrome into a dynamic and sophisticated visual experience.
The whole combines classicism and contemporaneity: a celebration of Sicilian tradition elevated by a modern aesthetic quest, where light becomes substance and ceramics become pure elegance.

This Medusa in ceramic appears as a sculpture of extraordinary expressive power, capable of blending myth, decoration, and material strength into a single scenic presence.
The face, intense and magnetic, emerges from a cascade of fully modeled snakes that intertwine in a continuous and enveloping movement. The serpents, glossy and sinuous, create an almost organic dynamism: they curl, overlap, and capture the light with warm reflections, amplifying the three-dimensionality of the work.
The coloring is deep and vibrant. The dark background, with shades of midnight blue and brown, hosts precious gold-yellow decorations that develop on the face with ornamental motifs clearly inspired by Sicilian Baroque. The contrast between the darkness of the base and the brightness of the decorations creates a theatrical effect, emphasizing the gaze and the expressiveness of the features.
At the top, rounded elements glazed in warm tones add a further chromatic accent, balancing the composition and giving verticality to the sculpture.
The whole is a work of strong character, in which the tradition of the Moorish Heads intertwines with the mythological iconography of Medusa, transforming into a celebration of sculptural craftsmanship, chromatic research, and Mediterranean identity.

This Medusa in ceramic stands out for its extraordinary richness of color and for an intense, almost hypnotic expressive power. The face, modeled with bold features, is crossed by a daring pictorial composition that transforms the surface into a true three-dimensional canvas.
The hair of serpents develops in full and sinuous coils, each modeled in relief and finished with glossy glazes in shades of green, brown, and amber. The intertwining creates a continuous movement that envelops the head with dynamic energy, amplifying the sculptural presence of the work.
The face is animated by a sophisticated play of colors: intense greens, deep blues, touches of ochre and warm earth tones blend into fields reminiscent of a contemporary pictorial mosaic. In the center, a golden geometric motif crosses the gaze, becoming both a symbolic and decorative element. The eyes, clear and penetrating, accentuate the magnetic character of the figure.
The glazed surface reflects light with iridescent vibrations, enhancing every sculptural and pictorial detail. The whole is a work that unites myth and experimentation, Sicilian tradition and contemporary language, transforming the iconography of Medusa into a powerful statement of artistic identity and artisanal mastery.

This sculpture presents itself as a deconstructed head, a unique work that dismantles the classical face in order to recompose it into a bold and contemporary vision.
The form retains the structural framework of the traditional ceramic head, yet it is traversed by a fragmented, almost Cubist language. The features are no longer unified: the nose projects forward with geometric determination, while the eyes — rendered with deep blue inserts — emerge from a surface interrupted by drips and layered material textures. The face appears incised, crossed by marks that resemble scars or sutures, elements that evoke a recomposition after fracture.
The surface is a controlled chromatic explosion. Dark drips run vertically like gestural traces, while triangular fragments and polychrome inserts — yellows, reds, blues, and greens — attach themselves to the structure like irregular tesserae. The result is a dialogue between painting and sculpture: plastic three-dimensionality merges with an expressive, almost instinctive painterly treatment.
At the base, organic elements modeled in glazed ceramic introduce additional volumes, reinforcing the sense of spontaneous, almost biological growth. The gloss of the glazes amplifies the depth of the surfaces, creating reflections that make the work dynamic and ever-changing depending on the light.
This head does not simply represent a face; it represents a process. It is an exploration of the fragmentation of identity, of the tension between order and chaos, between formal tradition and radical experimentation. A work that breaks symmetry in order to affirm a new harmony — more complex, more restless, and profoundly contemporary.

A refined artist-designed ceramic cachepot, enhanced by a precious double mother-of-pearl finish that refracts light into delicate, iridescent reflections. The luminous, silky surface envelops the form with sophisticated elegance, enhancing its volumes, depth, and sculptural details.
The piece is enriched by an intricate network of floral excrescences and sculptural branching forms, entirely modeled in relief and harmoniously intertwined in a dynamic composition full of tension, energy, and movement. Each branch is sculpted with meticulous care, creating a refined interplay of light and shadow that amplifies the material depth and renders the composition vivid and vibrant.
Particularly striking are the flowers, whose multicolored petals emerge with strong expressive force and a distinct sculptural character. The pronounced lines, the richness of the plastic detailing, and the powerful material presence lend the whole work an intense, almost theatrical presence.
The entire composition reveals itself as an extraordinary celebration of craftsmanship, where careful modeling, formal balance, and symbolic richness converge in an object that transcends function to become a true work of art.
A creation that celebrates myth, manual skill, and ceramic mastery, powerfully expressing the transformative force of matter shaped by art.
